This is Lori's Counter Attack, or Wish as we call him at home. This is in 2005, in London Ontario. We were jumping a 3 foot course, but I think Wish was jumping at least a foot extra. He doesn't like to touch the rails. Wish has jumped 4 feet, but I have become afraid of jumping high for some reason. I have no idea why, I have never had a bad crash or anything while jumping, so it definetely boggles my mind. Wish has never refused a jump a day in his life with me. He is so bold when it comes to jumping, or well when it comes to anything you ask him to do.
I thought this was just a nice picture of Wish and I in London. We were just walking around the ring waiting for the other competitors to show up. He does look to have a pretty okay frame in this picture too.
I really like this picture. It was the first decent picture of Wish's trot that I have. My mom took these pictures by the way. Congrats mom on the awsome photogs. Anyway. This picture was taken just as I was starting to move Wish forward. This isn't his extended trot, but getting there. He does have lovely movement doesn't he?
This is Wish in the fall of 2005. I was just driving him, and my mom took some pictures of him for me. I like this picture. He was moving very freely, with a nice long frame, and more of a hunter way of going.
This is Wish's dad back in the day. He was a great event horse before he got injured by another horse kicking him in the hind end with corks in his shoes. Now he does hunter/jumper, some dressage, and D rallies for pony club with a junior rider.
Update on Wish. I have now sold Wish. I got $8,000 for him. A young girl named Tabitha now owns him and she is 15. She did her first show with Wish the last weekend of April and won every class they entered. They look beautiful. I will post pics of them later. He now lives with a bunch of imported hanovarians. He does dressage only now, and is spoiled rotten. I will miss you Wish, good luck with your new life.
